  Dubrovnik transport
During the summer peak season traffic on Dubrovnik streets can be very annoying and dense.
It is not recommended to travel to Dubrovnik by car. If your accommodation doesn’t have a parking place it can be very difficult to park your car, but if this is the case park in the
city garage and ask for daily or weekly ticket.
Cycling is also very uneasy due to a many steep ways.
Transport from the airport can be arranged by taxi or by bus. If you are traveling with a group it is always better to take the taxi and split the bill because taxi will bring you in front
of your accommodation and bus to Pile gate.

Where to eat & drink in Dubrovnik
With very wide choices of Dubrovnik restaurants and depending on different tastes it is difficult to single out the particular place.
From exclusive restaurants to small cozy “conobas” Dubrovnik offers the diversity of choices.
If you are eating fish food it is very important that it is fresh.
TIP: Fresh fish can be recognized before preparation by clear eyes and red gills.
Also while you are here don’t miss to taste unique Croatian
wines originating from peninsula Peljesac from which we can recommend “Dingac” and “Plavac mali”. If you prepare the food by yourself you can buy groceries at any store, however it is highly recommended to visit one of two open air markets where you can find everything from the freshly caught fish, organic grown vegetables to olive oils and domestic wines and grapas.
Open markets are in Gruz and in the Old town.
TIP: Before you sit in the restaurant check the chart and compare the prices, for they may significantly vary from place to place.

  Nightlife in Dubrovnik
Night life is mostly centralized in and around the Old town.
From numerous bars where you can warm-up we can single out Café bar Mikro, Trubadur, Irish pub, Casablanca and Talir.
Afterwards if you are in the mood you can go dancing in one of the night clubs like Beach club Banje, Revelin or Fuego.

  Dubrovnik cable car
Above Dubrovnik arises 400 m high the hill Srd and it is surely the place with most magnificent view to Dubrovnik old town, sea and the islands.
On top of the hill is the old fortress with war museum and the cafe with glass walls so you can have a drink there while enjoying the view.
TIP: You can also make this trip by car or taxi.
