Mljet is situated on the west dalmatian coast. It is the most
western island of all bigger croatian islands. It is situated
paralely to penisola of Pelješac, between there’s Mljet channel
8 kms long. Eastwestern end of the island is 18 kms away from
island of Korčula while the other, westeastern end 30 kms from
Dubrovnik
Mljet is an elongated island, with an average width of 3 km, 37
km long. It is an Island of great diversity and contrast, and
"Mljet" National Park covers his northwestern part with
an area of 5.375 ha of protected land and surrounding sea.

Whole year long You are probably exposed to noise, crowd, haste
and stress of living in city environment.What we offer is the purest
form of absolute opposite. Peace and tranquility, calm and silence,
solitude and privacy, opportunity to slow down and recharge your
batteries. Nature and easygoingness will heal your soul. Calm and
solitude will purify your senses.
Forget, at least for a moment, your problems and refresh yourself,
whether it is a day or night, on one of our two private beaches
with easy access to the sea, just nearby Pension "Jezero"
.
The beaches are used exclusively by our guests so You will for
sure find your peace and place under the sun.
Both Mljet lakes are part of national park, deep inland, so they
are spared from the greatest danger of the open ocean - fast and
noisy speedboats. As a matter a fact all motor boat traffic on
the lakes is forbidden, so you can swim with no fear when and
where you want.
If you are looking for complete privacy, 20 minutes of easy walking
in thick shade of pine trees across arranged network of forest
trails will lead you to one of the many lagoons hidden form view
in centuries old pine forest, either on "Veliko" or
"Malo" lake.
Traditionally from the beginning of pension "Jezero"
we offer apartments with breakfast and dinner.
Right after the unspoiled and protected nature, the main reason
for our popularity is delicious sea food prepared according to
our traditional recipes. After whole day spent swimming, walking,
sunbathing and so on, our guests, tired from all day "resting"
gather at the terrace where we serve dinner.
Barbecued, boiled, brodetto, risotto, fried and on many more
ways prepared fish, with fresh vegetables and salads, and with
mandatory glass of wine will heal your body and soul.
The plates are always full, and if you eat it and still want
more, we will give you more, if there is any. (And there always
is.
The fish we serve is caught by us the very same day. So daily
menu depends solely of kind and quantity of fish caught that day.
Everything caught is prepared for cooking right before your eyes.
Also we offer lobsters from our saltwater pool where we keep
them alive just for you. That pool is called "Jastožera"
and we prepare lobsters from it according to your wishes - barbequed,
lobster salad, buzzara with pasta, or whatever your wishes are.
