We offer our dear guests one apartment for rent. This two
floor, newly renovated apartment (40m2, SAT TV), with its
own entrance is only several stairs away from numerous Dalmatian
gourmet delights, offered by some of the best restaurants
in Dubrovnik.

Almost all furniture is hand made, our bar from olive
tree, the stairs, door, windows, closet and many other
details. The richness of antique items, an amphora dating
from the Roman period, wooden bars on the ceiling and
chairs from the Dubrovnik Republic period will bring a
touch of history closer to you, while the tasteful decoration
details, e.g. pictures from a famous Dubrovnik painter
- Šuro Pulitika, bring a sense of Dalmatia to you.
Doors, windows, the interior and the exterior with their
authentically greatness, shape and harmony between wood
and stone will enable you to feel the humanity of this
magical world - a stone oasis, that old Dubrovnikers made

Located in a peaceful and quiet street within an old but reconstructed
house, at the same time only meters away from the main street
Stradun and numerous other sightseeing possibilities, Rooms
Pera invites you to spend memorable holidays, enjoying our
warm hospitality. Dubrovnik was founded
in the first half of the 7th century by a group of refugees
from Epidaurum (today's Cavtat). They established their
settlement at the island and named it Laus. Opposite of
that location, at the foot of Srd Mountain, Slavs developed
their own settlement under the name of Dubrovnik (named
by "Dub" - type of wood). Today's name of Dubrovnik
is derived from the Croatian word Dubrava, which means oak
woods as, in the past, oak trees surrounded Dubrovnik. The
Latin name Ragusa - Rausa, in use until the 15th century,
originated from the rock (lat. Lausa - meaning rock) where
the first settlement was established.
